Why consider Marketing Partnerships or Sponsorship Opportunities in local short track racing?

In recent years, auto racing has become the highest-attended spectator sport in the United States. While several million people annually attend professional motorsports events sanctioned by organizations such as NASCAR and the IRL, hundreds of thousands of people also attend weekly short-track racing at local tracks across the country.

Motorsports marketing, or race team sponsorship, is one of the most cost-effective methods of advertising. Race fans are extremely brand-loyal. A recent survey showed that almost 72 percent of NASCAR fans polled stated that sponsor influences have a direct effect on their purchases.

We can tailor an inexpensive advertising program to a sponsor's particular needs. In addition to professional graphics on the car itself, marketing partners will be prominently placed in our web site. Since we utilize a 28' enclosed trailer, it can become a rolling "billboard" during our trips to and from the track.

STR Promotions was established during the Winter of 2005/06 with Tim Harris as the Driver/Owner. We compete in the nationally recognized Legends Car Racing Series and are able to race at top NASCAR tracks such as Atlanta Motor Speedway (Atlanta, GA), Lowes Motor Speedway (Charlotte, NC), and Rockingham Speedway (Rockingham, NC) to mention a few. The tracks where we race in central Florida include Orlando Speedworld, Auburndale Speedway, and Citrus County Speedway.

Legends Car Racing is governed by INEX and 600 Racing at thousands of tracks from coast to coast. A number of today’s top NASCAR drivers like Kyle Bush & Dale Earnhardt Jr. have raced in this series. Legends are known for developing young upcoming drivers. Thousands of dedicated fans attend these races on a weekly basis. Many cars have nationally recognized sponsors. They include companies such as, Hormel, Cingular, Nextel, Zaxbys, Bojangles, Subway, General Mills, Home Depot, Western Union, Atlanta Journal plus hundreds of others known across the country.

  • To fans and spectators at the track. Over 100,000 in attendance every season.
